ABOUT COCONUT

We know that, in India the coconut is used in many temples for god. This coconut tree is belongs to the palm family. It is tall tree and his stem is branchless stem and it has branches on the top of the tree the coconut trees are tall as nearby 30 meters or some specias are tall than 30 meters. 

 

Some types of coconuts sre mention below:-

1). Chowghat orange drawf coconut 

Size:-16 feet tall 

Soil: - Well-draining soil is needed to grow to this chowghat orange drawf coconut tree.

 

Special feature: - orange coconut, this is fully water coconut and it need low amount of water. 

This coconut is firstly relised in 1991 by the CPCRI (central plantation crops Reaserch institute in Kerala, India🇮🇳). It can take between 3 to 4 years to being flowering. 

2). Malayan dwarf coconut 

  

Size: - 30 to 60 feet tall.

 

Soil: - sandy, well-draining is needed to grow this malayan dwarf coconut tree.

 

Special feature: -color of this coconut, yellow color coconut. 

This coconut is firstly relised in1800 century in Malaysia by the process of hybridization. 

           And now this malayan dwarf coconut is found in the tropical climates like Brazil,  Thailand and fiji.  It also grows in hot climates. 

3). Macapuno coconut.  

      

Size:- 12 to 16 feet. 

Soil: - Well-draning is need to grow this macapuno coconut tree. 

Special feature: - coconut are delicacy. 

This type of coconut is a naturally occurring cultivar. This coconut is discovered in 1931 in Philipines. These coconut are looks like regular and normal coconut from outside.
